About us

We are living in Brunkensen, a small romantic village located in the ” Leinebergland”, a district of the town: Alfeld / Leine. An ancient, large lime tree is standing at left side at the entrance to our "small world ". The residential buildings, of the nearly 200-year-old leftover-farm stands on a plot of land that divides into court and garden area. Our home has got a long time ago the "paw logo" by our, too soon, over the Rainbow Bridge gone previous Bernese Mountain Dogs (Othello and Afra). They were the best friends of our 1st Newfi Captain Balou from the Düssel, who came in March 2001 to us. We have deliberately opted for an open, controlled nature of the discipline, to ensure our puppy buyers a certain guarantee for the quality of the puppies. Our kennel has been approved by the certificate of competence and the assessment of the resident official veterinarian in accordance with § 11 of the Animal Welfare Act. We follow the breeding regulations of the German Newfoundland Club e.V.. The aim of the German Newfoundland-Club e.V. below - DNK - called the pure culture of Newfoundland in Germany in terms of their appearance and breed typical system, and the maintenance and promotion of its performance characteristics after the Fédération Cynologique International, hereinafter - FCI - called set out in Standard 50, as amended. Hereditary defects and diseases are detected by the DNK, evaluated and fights scheduled breeding. The International Breeding Regulations of the FCI and the breeding of Procedure of the Federation of German Kennel Association, hereinafter - VDH - called, are binding on all members of the DNK. We breed our females only with carefully selected stud males, both by their health, fitness as well as convince her exterior. For us is no distance too far.
                                     So why breed
The idea, to breed itself, is already been for some time a topic of conversation in our family, because over the years the wish grew in us, to give our contribution to the future development and preservation of this noble breed. The Newfoundlanddog, known for his unique love nature, its serenity, kindness, loyalty and unending love for his family, sometimes even an aristocrat among dogs breed, must be something special for us - enabling us to get puppies pure luck on four paws
                                     Conditions
The condition was for us the acquisition of a Newfoundlanddog from a breeder / kennel in a recognized breed of VDH club - also important was for us the parents and other ancestors whose HD, ED results, and heart-test results We even had the desire now to breed in one, the VDH / FCI recognized breed association. We became members in the DNK (German Newfoundland Club)
After we had filled all requirements and conditions, including successful participation in the A-breeders seminar, we have applied for national and international Kennel. We had a great pleasure, when we got on 01.09. 2007, the national Kennel, the Kennel in the form of deed confirming the DNK - and also the written confirmation of the FCI (which we have extra, requesting additional) for the International, Worldwide Kennel!
Our Newfoundland dog-breeding facility - instead of the term "Kennel" I prefer to use the description "facility", because "Kennel" combines for me the idea of a cage, bondage, imprisonment, has been since 2008 a year by the VDH, the seal of quality "VDH-BREEDING" obtained.
                                      Breeding goal
Our breeding goal is: healthy, strong - we place particular emphasis on the racial characteristics typical - typical Newfoundland - family dogs to breed. Our dogs can always stay free in the large fenced meadow area with several wooden houses, or in the house.
For all of the available breeding dogs are strict breeding rules - including the
